A compact single - feed muttiband planar antenna configuration suitable
for GPS, DCS. 2.4/5.8 GHz WLAN applications is presented.
The antenna has dimensions 38 x 3 x 1.6 mm and offers good
radiation and reflection characteristics in the above frequency bands.
The antenna has a simple geometry and can be easily fed using a 50
coaxial probe.

A novel compact wideband antenna for wireless local area network
(WLAN) applications in the 2.4 GHz band is presented. The proposed
low profile antenna of dimensions 15 x 14.5 x 1.6 mm offers 18.6%
bandwidth and an average gain of -5 dBi. The antenna can be excited
directly using a 50 coaxial probe

Abstract:
The effect of dopants with different valencies and ionic radii on the densification, structural
ordering, and microwave dielectric properties of Ba(Mg1/3Ta2/3)O3 (BMT) is investigated. It is
found that dopants such as Sb2O5, MnO, ZrO2, WO3, and ZnO improve the microwave dielectric
properties of BMT. Addition of trivalent dopants is detrimental to the cation ordering and dielectric
properties of BMT. A correlation between the microwave dielectric properties of BMT and ionic
radii of the dopant has been established. The variation of the dielectric properties of pure and doped
BMT at cryogenic temperatures is also discussed.

Abstract:
Design and development of a new feed -horn antenna
with low sidelobe levels is reported . The E-walls of this
antenna are fabricated with low -loss dielectric substrate , periodically
loaded with thin conducting strips . The antenna is found
to be simulating the radiation characteristics of metallic corrugated
horns . This can be an ideal substitute for metallic corrugated
horns with added advantages like light -weight and low
production cost.
Ceramic dielectric resonators in the BaO-RE2O3-TiO2 (RE=rare earth) system have been
prepared by the conventional solid state ceramic route. The dielectric properties have been
tailored by substitution of different rare earth oxides and by bismuth oxide addition. The
dielectric constants increased with Bi addition whereas the Q decreased. The temperature
coeffecient of the resonant frequency improved with bismuth addition.

Abstract:
A planar monopole antenna suitable for broadband wireless communication is designed and developed. With the use of a truncated ground plane, the proposed printed monopole antenna offers nearly 60% 2:1 VSWR bandwidth and good radiation characteristics for the frequencies across the operating band. A parametric study of the antenna is performed based on the optimized design, and a prototype of the antenna suitable for 2.4-GHz WLAN application is presented. The antenna can be easily integrated into wireless circuitry and is convenient for application in laptop computers.
